Fred Schneider

Fred Schneider is the male vocalist in the B-52’s.  Who could imagine the B-52’s without his zany antics and unique talk-singing style?

Fred has done a lot of interesting things outside the B-52’s.  He has released three solo albums, plus two EPs and one LP under the group name The Superions.  His solo work has been described as “comedy synthpop” and if you listen to the tunes below you’ll hear what that means.

He has 16 film credits (some acting roles and others just his voice), including The Rugrats Movie and The Flintstones.  He also hosted a show called Party Out of Bounds on Sirius radio for several years.

This is from Fred’s first solo album, 1984’s Fred Schneider & the Shake Society.
